Bio
Pavle is a digital media expert with more than 20 years of experience in the news industry and digital media development. He worked at editorial and managing duties in digital media and development programs - both in small scale environments, and large systems. Currently he is with IREX as Senior Lead for Digital Development at Mediji.Inovacije project in Serbia, where he works on providing support to media to increase sustainability through new business models, workflows, data and tech use. Before IREX, he led 40+ staff newsroom as Editor in Chief of Digital at B92.net. Also, he designed curriculum and mentored nine generations on digital journalism at “Slavko Ćuruvija Foundation”.

1º panel: Tech, Youth and Democracy
This panel will explore how younger generations are engaging socially and politically through technology, how they are innovating in their social activism and how they are addressing the challenges of disinformation in Europe. The panel will approach these issues from a risk-opportunity logic, trying to detect which factors may help to tip the balance on the side of strengthening democracy.
